Mike is a senior associate in the construction and infrastructure team, specialising in the procurement and delivery of commercial, retail, mixed-use, major construction, and infrastructure projects.
He has previously worked in-house for several major contractors and developers. In these roles Mike has developed a broad understanding of the commercial and operational requirements of major construction projects from the perspectives of the client, contractor and consultant. These skills ensure his clients benefit from a pragmatic, commercial viewpoint that extends beyond a purely legal analysis of the project risks and deliverables.
Mike works closely with the firm's real estate, social housing and property finance teams in providing non-contentious construction advice to developers, funders and property investors. He joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in February 2022.
