James is a partner in the real estate division and is based in the London office. He has experience across the real estate spectrum, specialising in the acquisition and disposal of investment properties (including portfolios), development project work (including forward funding), and the property aspects of secured lending. He also deals with fund and asset management work.
James acts for a range of clients including institutional investors, real estate companies and funds, family offices, banks and tenant occupiers. He has a strong track record in the major real estate sectors along with sub-sectors including commercial ground rents, student housing, hotels and health and care.
He joined the firm as a trainee in 2005, qualified in 2007 and became a partner in 2015.
