Mike heads the real estate division, with overall responsibility for its strategic direction, and is a member of the firm's strategy board. A senior partner in the Guildford real estate team, he acts for a wide range of clients across the real estate spectrum, specialising in landlord and tenant work; development work and freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, both in the South East and nationally.

He deals with all types of commercial property including warehouses, factories, care homes, retail units, offices and development land, and is part of the hotels and leisure sector group and retail sector group, acting on the purchase and disposal of hotels and leisure developments. Mike also has experience in real estate finance and has recently advised on a £100 million plus transaction. His team are renowned for their secured lending work on complex portfolios with tight time frames.

Mike's key clients include Flight Centre (UK) Limited - he acts on all their UK acquisitions and disposals - and Barrington Brown Estates Limited. He advises a number of industrial estate landowners and has set up lettings schemes on numerous estates. Mike also acts for a number of bespoke developers operating in Surrey and south west London.
