Various points based categories and representatives of overseas businesses categories currently rely on the points based calculator to demonstrate the level of their overseas qualification (eg bachelor, master) or as confirmation that their qualifications were taught in English. From 6 April this free service will close.
Consequently, migrants will be required to obtain an official statement from UK NARIC to confirm this information. Statements will come at a cost (currently £70 + VAT) and take around five working days to be produced. This additional cost and timeframe will need to be taken into consideration when submitting an application.
