Citywealth names three Penningtons Manches lawyers as stars of the future

Penningtons Manches LLP is proud to announce that three lawyers from the firm’s private client and family teams have been recognised as future leaders in Citywealth’s inaugural Future Leaders List. Private client senior associate Imogen Buchan-Smith, family associate Kate Molan and private client associate Lucy Edwards have all been listed as “stars of the future” by Citywealth. 

The Future Leaders List recognises young, up-and-coming practitioners in law, investment management, trusts and private banking. All those included are recommended by their directors, senior peers or clients and the list heralds them as rising stars in the private wealth industry. The list recognises their contribution to their field, but also their dedication to philanthropy and attaining a work-life-balance. Imogen Buchan-Smith was noted for her “considerable depth of experience in planning for non-resident, non-domiciled individuals moving to the UK”, while Lucy Edwards has “a natural rapport with clients of all stages and backgrounds. When combined with her clarity on legal matters and efficiency…[this] makes for a successful long term relationship”. Kate Molan “is a first class young lawyer who possesses exceptional negotiating skills and remains unfazed, even when faced with complex issues”. Head of the private individuals division, Tim Palmer says: “We are delighted our young lawyers have received this accolade. It is testament to their hard work and already notable achievements.
