The case was reported, before its successful conclusion, by the Daily Telegraph in April 2019, as part of a feature about systemic problems within the NHS.

We recently acted for a young woman who suffered life-changing injuries following the unnecessary surgical insertion of mesh to treat stress incontinence. The trust admitted liability after the claimant developed mesh erosion leading to the removal of the eroded part of the mesh and urinary problems including frequency, urgency and nocturia.
