As AI adoption accelerates across education, many school leaders are asking the same questions: who is accountable, what are the risks, and what does good governance actually look like?

In this 45-minute session, our specialists will explore the growing challenge of unsanctioned AI use in schools, from pupils using AI to support coursework to staff using it to draft references, safeguarding notes or SEND paperwork containing special category data.

We will discuss the data protection, safeguarding and compliance risks that schools should be aware of, as well as the key questions governors, school leaders and staff should be asking technology providers when considering the use of AI tools.
