Settling a claim for a motorcyclist who approached the firm for a second opinion having previously been told he had no claim due to his speeding. He had undergone an above knee amputation after his accident.

We have negotiated the settlement of a claim for a client in his 70s who suffered a below knee amputation as a result of a road traffic accident. He was riding his moped along a main road when a car pulled out of a side junction.

We acted for a motorcyclist who had stopped at the side of the road to assist another biker who had come off his bike having lost control on a corner. Both men were off the roadway but a car came round the corner too tightly and collided with our client.

We secured £170,000 in damages for our client after he was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered significant injuries. He sustained a crush spinal fracture, a severe fracture to his left wrist and carpal tunnel syndrome.

We were instructed to advise on a case where a motorcyclist’s arm was amputated. The accident involved a car overtaking at a point where a single carriageway road split into a dual carriageway.

Our team represented a 21 year old trainee RAF pilot who was knocked off his bike in a high speed collision. He suffered a brain injury and completely and permanently lost his vision, thus ending his career plans.
