Tom Walker

Partner

Tom specialises in employment law advice to boards and C-suite executives, particularly in financial services. His client base includes PLCs, limited companies, LLPs, partners and regulated individuals, and he has particular expertise in board room disputes and director issues.

Tom cut his teeth as a frequent employment tribunal advocate but now has a large mixed advisory and litigation practice both in employment law and the world of financial regulation. His advice covers whistleblowing, discrimination, contractual disputes and confidentiality litigation. He regularly advises high-net-worth individuals on career moves, termination agreements and the negotiation of service agreements.

I love the law; it is the rules that bind a society together, a vital security in turbulent times. UK employment law is practical and still, despite everything, relatively light touch. For my corporate clients, it allows for swift commercial solutions. For my executive clients it offers fairness and protection from discrimination.

Tom Walker, Partner

A regular contributor to both the legal press and national media, Tom consistently features in the leading legal directories. He has been ‘recommended for his ability to handle difficult matters very well’ and described as ‘a very commercial and bright lawyer, whose proactivity in following up matters is appreciated by clients’. Tom is a leading member of the firm’s mental health and disability committee and a mental health champion.
