Jane Mitchell

Partner

Jane is a partner based in the Thames Valley, specialising in family law, especially more complex financial cases and difficult disputes concerning arrangements for children, in both married and unmarried cases.

She has particular expertise in matters with an international element, and in handling cases where coercive, controlling or abusive behaviour is involved. Jane also regularly advises on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. As a trained collaborative lawyer, she is a long-standing member of Resolution, an association of family lawyers committed to a constructive approach to resolving family law issues. Jane is the only lawyer based in the Thames Valley who is a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a worldwide association which recognises the top family lawyers in their jurisdictions.

As a family lawyer with over 30 years of experience, I aim to bring wisdom and insight into helping my clients resolve their family problems. I offer the benefits of decades of experience combined with a genuine interest in helping people through what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives.
