Profile

Tim is a partner in the real estate team. He qualified in 1986 and joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2000, becoming a partner in 2004. His main area of work is acting for developers on the acquisition of development land for both commercial and residential use. This includes dealing with options, conditional contracts and promotion agreements.

He also advises various registered providers on site acquisitions and regeneration projects, together with joint ventures with private sector developers. His work also involves dealing with complex planning agreements as part of the development process.

Recent work highlights

Dealing with the acquisition of a redundant town centre site for a mixed use development with 90 apartments and four retail units.
Acting for a developer taking long term options over a 50 hectare strategic development site in Surrey.
Dealing with a joint venture and planning agreements for the acquisition of a site for a substantial light industrial development.
