New partner strengthens Penningtons Manches Cooper's family law team in Oxford

Leading family law specialist Jolene Hutchison has joined the Oxford office of top 50 law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper as a partner.

With nearly two decades of experience, Jolene offers a depth and breadth of expertise in all aspects of family law. She has developed particular capabilities in the resolution of complex financial matters arising on divorce, and in tackling the difficulties encountered when unmarried clients separate. 

The majority of Jolene’s cases involve complicated financial arrangements and often have an international element. She has developed an excellent reputation for her expertise in matters involving intricate income structures, pensions and private limited companies, and is regularly sought out by clients for this type of work. Jolene’s clients span a wider range of backgrounds, including professionals, entrepreneurs, family business owners, and those with independent wealth.

Jolene also has significant experience in advising on complex private law children disputes. This had included defending and progressing allegations of coercive control, and advising on a range of international child relocation cases.

Prior to joining Penningtons Manches Cooper, Jolene was a partner at IBB Law, where she led the family law practice. Jolene is consistently ranked as a leader in her field in Chambers and Partners and a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500.
