Private client team announced as finalists in the eprivateclient Excellence Awards 2025

Penningtons Manches Cooper's private client team has been shortlisted in the eprivateclient Excellence Awards.
 
The awards recognise the outstanding achievements of the top private client firms across the UK over the last 12 months. The awards are judged by a distinguished group of heads of wealth advisory, structuring and planning from some of the sector’s leading private banks and wealth management institutions, assisted by eprivateclient's team of senior journalists and researchers. The winners will be announced on Thursday 12 June 2025 at a gala dinner taking place in London.

The private client team assists with planning for lifetime tax issues such as income tax and capital gains tax; asset protection; succession issues to pass the wealth on to the next generation, particularly inheritance tax and gifting; pre-empting and preventing family conflict; and also the day to day trials and tribulations of life. The team comprises of lawyers who are full members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) or are studying to become so. This allows the lawyers to provide the most up-to-date knowledge of the latest tax reliefs, planning and methodologies available so that clients are always assured of the best advice available.
