The corporate team at Penningtons Manches Cooper has advised the senior leadership team at BTE Plant Sales Ltd on the management buy-out of one of the largest independent plant suppliers in the UK from its current shareholders, for an undisclosed sum.
BTE Plant Sales, founded in 1990, is a leading provider of plant machinery with physical locations across the Midlands, Yorkshire and Lancashire. The company also featured in the East Midlands Top 500 Companies 2022.
The Penningtons Manches Cooper team was led by corporate partner Matthew Martin, with support from associate Emily MacDonald. The wider team included employment senior associate Sarah Mant, banking and finance partner John Chater, and real estate partner Alex Prew.
