Penningtons Manches Cooper expands employment practice with new partner hire

Top 50 law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper has strengthened its employment practice with the appointment of partner Ruby Dinsmore, who will be based in the London office.

Ruby, who joins the firm from Slater & Gordon, brings with her a decade of experience acting on a broad range of employment issues during her career. Ruby has developed a special focus on advising senior executives navigating complex workplace issues that arise during and after employment. She has particular experience in exit strategy and negotiations and has significant experience in discrimination cases and contract disputes.

Her clients span many sectors and include finance, energy and media. Recently she acted for the former COO of an international travel company, on a high-value unfair dismissal and breach of contract claim, a Director at an international bank in a sexual harassment claim, she also successfully negotiated release from non-dealing and non-solicitation restrictions for a Global Head in a multi-national retail company.

Ruby’s remit at Penningtons Manches Cooper will capitalise on her senior executive expertise, although she will also be available to advise the firm’s many employer clients.
