Penningtons Manches Cooper has acted for Blighter Surveillance Systems Limited, a radar technology company based outside Cambridge which provides radars, counter-drone technology and integration software, on a growth capital funding led by venture debt firm, BOOST&Co.
Cambridge based partner Helen Drayton led the Penningtons Manches Cooper team, with assistance from Katharine Robinson and Chris Voelker.
BOOST&Co creates growth capital and venture debt solutions for some of the UK's most promising companies. Blighter Surveillance Systems will use this funding to enhance its supply chain, allowing it to shorten lead times.
Chief finance officer of Blighter Surveillance Systems, Tracy Sambrook said: "Expanding our commercial client base is a key step in the next stage of Blighter’s development, and when we began to look for a lender to support these aims, BOOST&Co stood out."
