The private wealth group at Penningtons Manches is celebrating after being shortlisted for multiple awards in the sector. The nominations recognise the firm, expert individuals, and its specialist contentious private client team.
The 2018-19 STEP Private Client Awards has shortlisted partner Lucy Edwards in the Young Practitioner of the Year category and Clare Archer for the inaugural Trusted Advisor of the Year award. The firm’s contentious private client team has also been shortlisted for Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year (large firm). The awards, now in its 13th year, highlight global excellence amongst private client professionals. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 7 November 2018 in central London.
The team has also been recognised by the 2019 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards. Partner Clare Archer has been shortlisted for Woman of the Year - Leadership (Professional Services) and the firm is also shortlisted in the Company of the Year - Female Leadership (Mid-size) category. The Powerwomen awards recognise individuals and companies who champion female leaders in the private wealth industry and take place on 21 February 2019.
The nominations follow the news earlier this summer that four members of the private wealth group, including partner Lucy Edwards, have been shortlisted for categories in the Citywealth 2018 Future Leaders Awards, which champion young professionals in the sector under 40. Members of the team have also been nominated in Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite 2018 and Ones to Watch 2018 lists.
Private wealth is a key area of focus and investment for Penningtons Manches and this spate of nominations reflect its continued commitment to the sector.
