Penningtons Manches’ private wealth group is celebrating the success of two practice areas at the 2018 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards. The London-based private client team was named runner up in the Law Firm of the Year - London category and the firm’s charities team was also runner up in the Charity Law Firm of the Year category at the ceremony.
The London private client practice’s submission emphasised its highly proactive service, tailored to each client’s individual needs, and the personable and practical approach taken by its lawyers. Partner Clare Archer, who leads the team, received the award and commented: “I’m really proud that we have been recognised for our client-focused mindset and the great things we have achieved over the last year.”
The charities team, which was formed just two years ago, has consistently delivered impressive results. In particular, its submission highlighted the successful thought leadership report Bridging the Gap, and the breadth and depth of expertise available to clients who wish to explore their charitable aspirations. Head of charities Alison Talbot commented: “This award is a result of the team’s determination to do the best for our clients and their charitable wishes.”
