Following the EU referendum result, the Government has commissioned the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to advise on the economic and social impacts of the UK’s exit from the European Union and also on how the UK’s immigration system should be aligned with a modern industrial strategy. The MAC will report to the Government before September 2018 and their findings will inform the design of a new immigration system for the UK after Brexit.
EEA nationals make up a significant part of many businesses across a variety of sectors and with free movement ‘as we know it’ due to come to an end this call for evidence is an opportunity to have your say.
If your current workforce includes EEA nationals, please click here to complete our short survey to ensure your views are reflected in the submission made by the immigration team at Penningtons Manches to the MAC. The survey should take no longer than five minutes to complete and will close on Friday 29 September.
