Two members of the Penningtons Manches private client team were winners at Citywealth’s Magic Circle Awards 2015 at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel on 7 May. Billed as “The Premier Awards for the Financial Sector”, the firm has won many Citywealth accolades over the years and was pleased to score three more.
Senior counsel, Chris Lintott was presented with the Editor's Choice Award by Karen Jones, Citywealth Chief Executive, who said: “The industry talks at length about being a ‘trusted advisor’ and what those words mean but Chris lives and breathes it and the depth of his relationships prove it.” The award was launched in 2010 to recognise individuals who have “constantly helped and inspired others” and fellow private client and tax senior counsel, Lesley Lintott, was the first winner.
Associate Lucy Edwards beat the other four shortlisted contenders to win the Tomorrow Club Award. The Citywealth Tomorrow Club brings together junior high-flyers in the wealth industry and provides opportunities for members to build useful contacts as their careers develop.
The firm’s highly ranked immigration team led by partner Pat Saini was shortlisted for the Immigration Law Firm of the Year for the first time and she and senior associate Hazar El-Chamaa were delighted to be presented with the Runners Up award.
