On 6 March 2015, the British Consulate General in New York launched a Super Priority Visa Service that will enable applicants to receive a decision on their visa application within 24 hours.
The Super Priority Visa Service is already available in India and China for applicants and their dependants making visa applications under the points-based system (PBS) and individuals who want to visit the UK.
Applicants and their dependants will be eligible for the New York Super Priority Visa Service if they are applying via one of the following immigration routes:
The Super Priority Visa Service costs $936 (approximately £630) and is available to eligible applicants who are or can be in New York. Applicants with any form of adverse immigration history are advised by the UKVI to not use the Super Priority Visa Service.
Applicants who are interested in this using this service are first required to book a Super Priority Visa Appointment via the VFS website.
