Penningtons has been listed as one of the leading international law firms for cross-border deals involving India in the latest edition of the India Business Law Journal.
In an article entitled ‘The pioneers’, the magazine describes Penningtons as a ‘significant player’ and particularly highlights the expertise of partners Rustam Dubash and Anna Frankum. It also makes reference to Penningtons’ legal advice on entry and exit strategies for the Indian market and investments from India into the UK and Europe.
The report includes a testimonial from Jimmy Contractor, company secretary at Tata Limited, which has instructed Penningtons since 1995. Jimmy emphasises that he has recommended Penningtons to Tata’s India group companies and describes Rustam and Anna as ‘outstanding’.
