Penningtons Solicitors LLP is pleased to announce that Judith Farbey QC will be working alongside its highly rated immigration team as an independent consultant. Judith, of Doughty Street Chambers, is a leading expert on sponsor licensing matters. She has been involved in a number of landmark cases and, in conjunction with Penningtons, led English UK's groundbreaking judicial review case in 2010.
The consultancy agreement between Penningtons and a leading QC is the first of its kind in the UK. Through a combination of in-house training and regular advice about the latest law and policy developments, our solicitors will be able to draw upon Judith's wealth of specialist knowledge outside the context of client casework. Working closely to identify the emerging hot topics in immigration and discuss potential products, the partnership will enable Penningtons' immigration team to provide more timely and innovative solutions to their new and established clients and anticipate in advance the impact of legal change on their businesses.
The consultancy, which is non-exclusive, begins in February.
