Camilla Bridges

Associate

Camilla is an associate in the private client team in London, advising on a broad spectrum of private wealth issues, with a particular focus on UK and international tax and succession issues. She acts for domestic, non-domiciled and non-resident individuals, together with trustees, families and family offices.

Camilla is experienced in succession and estate planning, preparing wills and lasting powers of attorney, pre-arrival and pre-departure planning for non-UK domiciled individuals, as well as the creation of trust and other structures. She also deals with trusts and the administration of estates, including applications for grants of probate, post-death variations of estates and the re-sealing of colonial grants.

Mylor is an associate in the private client team, with broad experience of lifetime tax planning, as well as succession planning.

Since qualifying as a lawyer in 2006, Mylor has specialised in private client matters and tax planning at a number of top ranked firms. He advises clients on UK succession planning (wills, trusts and exemptions from UK inheritance tax), as well as on lifetime tax mitigation strategies such as the establishment of family investment structures. He has particular expertise in advising SMEs on day-to-day corporate matters with a focus on exits and expansion by acquisition or joint venture. He also has several years’ experience prior to qualifying advising on foreign direct investment in the GCC region and draws on this when providing guidance to overseas clients on investment into the UK and cross-border matters. Oliver Tyson, Associate

He joined the firm from a specialist construction practice, where he practised alongside a nationally renowned construction adjudicator. Consequently, he has a particular interest in adjudication and is well versed in the use of adjudication to recover unpaid money, as well as to resolve other construction related disputes.

This experience has led Oliver to conduct adjudications, both as a representative of the Referring and Responding Parties, before adjudicators nominated by the RICS, TeCSA, RIBA, ICE and, TECBAR. Oliver is also knowledgeable of the procedure for the enforcement of adjudicator’s awards and has been involved in adjudication enforcement matters which have been the subject of reported High Court judgments.

As an area of interest, Oliver frequently writes articles on developments on the law surrounding the adjudication process and enforcement. He qualified in 2020 and joined the firm as an associate in 2023.

Pria Mehta

Pria is an experienced associate within the private client team. She has a broad range of experience in assisting individuals with their personal affairs throughout their lifetime and assisting families with estate administration after the loss of a loved one.

She supports clients in the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, providing bespoke advice depending on her clients’ circumstances and wishes. Tax and estate planning for high-net worth individuals is another area of Pria’s practice and she offers a holistic service under the firm’s PennWills services. She provides assistance with the administration of estates and helps families in matters that range from registration of the death, obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration, liaising with HMRC and arranging for inheritance tax calculations, through to obtaining tax clearance and arranging the distribution of assets.

Nicky McKenzie

Nicky is an associate in the shipping, international trade and commodities team in London. She regularly advises shipowners, charterers, P&I clubs, insurers, commodity traders and other key stakeholders in the maritime industry on a broad range of contentious dry shipping matters.

Her practice encompasses contentious shipping work with a focus on charterparty disputes, bills of lading, cargo claims, ship arrests, demurrage, off-hire and marine insurance. Nicky’s experience also extends to working on international disputes arising out of sale of goods contracts, and disputes within the commodity sector relating to soft commodities and agribusiness.

I specialise in advising clients on complex shipping, maritime and trade law matters. My aim is to deliver commercially pragmatic solutions to clients in a fast-paced international sector.

Nicky McKenzie, Associate

This broad expertise has given Nicky a strong understanding of English High Court procedure as well as international arbitration and mediation under The London Maritime Arbitrators Association, the International Chamber of Commerce and The London Court of International Arbitration rules.
