Social impact
To achieve our aim of being the most human law firm means making a difference in the communities where we live and work, not just in courtrooms. Each year, the firm makes meaningful financial contributions, and our people dedicate their time, energy, and legal expertise to drive meaningful change, whether through pro bono legal work, volunteering, or partnering with impactful local charities.
Pro bono – legal support that opens doors
We’re proud to support causes that matter. Every employee at our firm receives 21 hours annually to contribute to social impact initiatives, and they use them with purpose.
Justice should never be out of reach. Through our growing pro bono programme, we work with individuals and organisations who might otherwise struggle to access legal services. We’re proud to partner with charities and advocacy groups to offer free legal support on issues that affect real lives – from securing compensation for those affected by the Windrush scandal, to offering guidance through the Royal Courts of Justice Citizens Advice & Law Centre.
Localised social impact
We bring the same energy we put into our legal work to our communities. Across our locations, our people are making a meaningful impact by giving their time to volunteering and fundraising. Beyond legal services, we take an active role in strengthening our communities by partnering with local charities and offering financial support, hands-on support, and essential resources. Whether it’s assisting local hospices, supporting homelessness charities, or assembling Christmas hampers for families in need, our teams are committed to helping out when it matters most. Our environmental initiatives, from canal clean-ups to woodland restoration, also help protect and sustain the spaces we all share.
Giving back is central to our mission to be the most human law firm.
