Successful claim against hotel chain
Our client, a hotel guest, was walking through a North London hotel car park at night when she tripped over a lowered parking bollard which was camouflaged by the paving stones, causing a tear to a tendon in her right knee which required surgery.
Our client was an elderly lady who had been holidaying in Devon. On the day of her departure, she emptied her wardrobe and as she did so the wardrobe, which had been placed in an unstable position before her arrival, toppled over. The wardrobe knocked our client down to the floor and she suffered injuries to her ankle, shoulder and back.
We have achieved a settlement for one of the victims injured in June 2015 on The Smiler attraction at Alton Towers.
