Victor Mata

Partner

Víctor is a partner in the Madrid office who specialises in shipping, transport, international trade and litigation. He has extensive experience in advising on contentious and non-contentious matters, having appeared before domestic and international arbitration bodies.

In addition to Victor’s maritime and transport law specialisms, he has particular expertise in personal injury claims, acting on behalf of clients in those sectors before commercial, labour and criminal courts. His experience encompasses managing cases from the onset of the issue, guiding his clients through negotiations, and representing them in court.

My aim as a lawyer is to help clients by advising them from the outset on the best way to defend their interests. I always bear in mind their best long-term outcome from a pragmatic point of view.
