Tom Amlot

Partner

Tom enjoys a reputation in the family law world as a first-class practitioner. With more than 20 years’ experience in all aspects of family law, he has a depth of experience in complex litigation, as well as expertise in the cross-over between conventional family work and cases involving invasion of privacy.

He represents many international clients and has acted in some of the most complicated litigation passing through the courts, including cases involving complex financial structures or layers of assets held in trust. In his children work, Tom has acted in high-conflict children cases domestically and across borders, including in applications for international relocations.

25 years on, I still find my work challenging and rewarding in equal measure. Family law in the UK is a very personal world: the identity of the professionals involved makes a big difference and should be chosen with care. The approach taken by our lawyers provides the balance of tough but fair, and always with humanity.
