Sarah is a managing associate in the real estate team in Guildford, and acts for a wide range of developers on nationwide strategic land purchases, sub-sales, mixed-use developments and disposals.
These transactions often involve drafting and agreeing complicated conditional contracts, option agreements and overage agreements. She has significant retail-based lettings experience and is a go-to solicitor for drafting and negotiating complex agreements for leases, acting for both landlord and tenant clients in the technology, life sciences and retail sectors. Sarah also regularly acts for tenants on lease renewals, as well as clients on borrower-side finance and refinance transactions.
I am a transactional real estate lawyer regularly instructed to act for our clients on complex real estate transactions. I care about, and place great importance on, understanding our clients’ business ventures and their core commercial drivers, so that I can ensure their transaction progresses efficiently and effectively.
Sarah advises on all other non-contentious commercial property transactions and has experience in acting for clients acquiring more unusual assets. The Legal 500 recommends Sarah as a key lawyer for commercial property. She champions diversity in the real estate sector and has co-founded the South East Women’s Property Network, with more than 80 members (and growing), which supports women professionally and personally at all stages of their property careers.
