Phil is a partner in the corporate team. He trained and qualified in the City and joined Penningtons Manches Cooper from a Surrey based law firm where he was a partner for over six years. He advises on all types of corporate transactions, including private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements and corporate governance.

He also regularly provides boardroom training for a wide range of clients on matters such as best practice, structuring, Bribery Act compliance and preparing for acquisition or sale.

A member of the firm’s health and care sector group, he advises all kinds of healthcare professionals including GPs, pharmacists, dentists, dermatologists, pathologists and chiropractors.
