Profile

Camilla is an experienced paralegal in the travel law team who is admitted as a FCILEx lawyer, specialising in personal injury claims resulting from accidents abroad. She receives instructions from travel insurer clients to act on behalf of their policy holders, reporting on prospects and the general handling of claims. 

Assisting on a wide range of cases, Camilla has played a supporting role in our multi-million pound catastrophic injury claims handled by the team. She also has experience of clinical negligence cases, having previously worked in the firm’s clinical negligence team. Her daily responsibilities include attending client visits, meetings and court hearings; liaising with defendants’ solicitors; drafting witness statements, instructions to experts and briefs to counsel; attending conferences and settlement meetings; and obtaining and reviewing medical records and reports. 

Camilla holds a law degree (LLB) from the University of Surrey and she completed the Legal Practice Course with a Masters of Law (LLM). She is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is a fluent creole speaker.

  • Acting for a skier who sustained injuries whilst on holiday in France.
  • Assisting on high value and complex catastrophic personal injury cases which have led to multi-million-pound settlements.
  • Assisting and preparing for trial in a complex, high value case relating to a client who sustained life-changing injuries in a motorbike accident in Germany.
