Profile

Bronnie is an associate in the clinical negligence team. She is based in the Basingstoke office, but acts for clients nationwide. 

She has previously worked on cases involving obstetric negligence, including cerebral palsy claims, claims involving neonatal hypoglycaemia, delays in diagnosis of cancer, and claims for spinal injuries including Cauda Equina Syndrome. Bronnie has particular experience assisting senior colleagues on cases involving child brain injuries. 

Prior to completing her Legal Practice Course, Bronnie was awarded an MA in medical ethics and law at King's College London, and obtained her LLB from the University of Exeter. She qualified as a solicitor in May 2021, and joined Penningtons Manches Cooper’s clinical negligence team as an associate in 2023. 

Recent work highlights

  • Achieving settlement for a mother’s psychiatric injury following the negligent management of her labour and delivery whereby her son suffered a brain injury.
  • Assisting on several multi-million-pound child brain injury claims, including injuries caused during labour and delivery, and injury after birth/within the first few days of life.
  • Assisting on cases involving spinal injuries and obtaining a six-figure settlement for a client following the missed diagnosis of her cauda equina syndrome.
