Paralegal (Finance)
Lynn is a finance paralegal in the Court of Protection team. She assists the finance lead with the daily running of all deputyship and trust bank accounts and investments.
She monitors and maintains cash flow, making necessary decisions with the deputy of withdrawals, and assists with the weekly reconciliation of all accounts on the firm’s CRM system. Lynn arranges the setting up of Court Funds Office accounts, savings and investment accounts for the deputy or trustees, and prepares the application for banking arrangements for both the firm’s deputyship and support accounts. She works alongside her team members to monitor support accounts.
I am very approachable and enthusiastic in my role and I am always willing to assist the rest of the Court of Protection team in their day-to-day roles.
Lynn also monitors and assists with the annual reporting of the financial figures to the Office of the Public Guardian and copies documents for litigation solicitors and the annual periodical payment. She also assists with the personal tax return collation of documents and information for investment meetings. Lynn joined the firm in 2022 after working for multiple banking institutions, building her knowledge of COP and trust account processes.
