Lucas Grinstead

Associate

Lucas is an associate in the employment team. He works with corporate clients, educational institutions, and individuals on a wide array of employment‑related legal issues, and is a member of the firm’s sports, media and creative group.

With experience in both contentious and non‑contentious matters, Lucas advises clients on Employment Tribunal claims involving discrimination, unfair dismissal, breach of contract, and issues concerning TUPE. He regularly supports clients on day-to-day HR matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes, capability and performance management, workplace investigations, restructuring projects and redundancy exercises. His work also includes drafting and negotiating settlement agreements for both employers and employees, and providing clear guidance on contractual and procedural compliance.

I support clients on contentious and advisory employment matters, with a particular interest in the sports sector. I enjoy working collaboratively with them to help navigate challenging issues and reach practical, commercially focused solutions.
