Services

Katherine is a senior associate in the family law team based in London. She acts for clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, financial disputes, private law children work and injunctive proceedings. She is experienced in high-net-worth cross border cases, dealing with both the child arrangements, and the financial aspects.

Her considerable experience spans complex international and domestic cases and she is extremely well-regarded by counsel and clients alike. Katherine also has experience in cohabitation matters and pre- and post-nuptial agreements, exercising discretion and sensitivity in high profile cases. She has assisted on matters in the Family Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as matters that have settled collaboratively without the need for court intervention.

I work with discretion and empathy, and I am passionate about achieving the very best for my clients in the most efficient way possible. I maintain perspective in difficult cases, act with alacrity where necessary, and remain one step ahead in the overall strategy and management of my cases.

Katherine Harding, Senior associate

Due to Katherine’s previous experience in law enforcement, working on extremely challenging cases often involving addiction, abuse and international child protection issues, she holds a unique position; she has acquired high-level knowledge of safeguarding issues that is invaluable in some of the firm’s most complex and challenging cases and there is little that can phase her.

Katherine joined the family law team in September 2019 after completing her training contract with the firm. She is a member of Resolution and sits on its working together committee. As a member of the Association of International Junior Advocates (AIJA), Katherine represented Penningtons Manches Cooper at the annual conference in Madrid in August 2024. She was part of the organising committee for AIJA’s International Private Client and Family Law Seminar in Cambridge in June 2025.
