Karina is a dedicated paralegal within the brand protection team, based in the firm’s Oxford office, focusing on trade mark and design matters.
As part of the firm’s broader IP, IT and commercial offering, the brand protection team provides clients with the full range of brand management and protection services – from brand and design clearance, development and registration, through to licensing, divestment and enforcement. Karina assists with UK, EU and WIPO applications, renewals and related registry proceedings. She has extensive knowledge of trade mark administration and formalities, and assists with managing clients’ valuable trade mark portfolios across various sectors. Karina also supports the team with the administrative aspects of trade mark and design litigation matters.
I enjoy working with clients in the creative industries, learning about their businesses and helping them secure their valuable intellectual property rights. Each client presents a unique set of challenges that we help them to overcome in order for them to reach their goals.
As a valued member of the Oxford sports and social committee, Karina has been involved in organising various events to help develop firm culture. She joined the firm in November 2021, having graduated with a degree in criminology.
