Profile

Sarah is an associate in the housing team, and works with registered providers of social housing, assisting them with development projects. This includes acquisitions with associated planning agreements and nominations agreements.

She also has experience acting in the private sector on non-contentious real estate transactions, including sales and purchases (to include shared ownership, Help to Buy and Right to Buy), landlord and tenant, residential development and secured lending.

Sarah qualified as a real estate solicitor in 2018 and joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2022.

Recent work highlights

Negotiating nominations agreements on behalf of housing associations.
Acting for a registered provider on the acquisition and development of unregistered land, including advising on utilities and easements.
Acting for a registered provider to negotiate sub-station leases, including assisting with surrendering an existing lease, and negotiating a new temporary lease and a permanent lease at three different locations on site.
