Profile

Rachel is an associate in the Singapore office.

She regularly advises shipowners, charterers, and P&I clubs on dry and wet shipping matters, including disputes relating to charterparty and bill of lading issues, cargo claims, and collisions. She also has experience of advising on general commercial disputes.

Prior to joining Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2021, Rachel practiced at a local shipping law firm for five years, gaining Singapore court experience.

Recent work highlights

Acting for owners in a claim for cargo tank damage arising out of the carriage of chemical cargo.
Advising owners in the settlement of collision claims.
Acting for charterers in various LMAA arbitrations.
