Profile

John is a partner in our clinical negligence and personal injury team. He joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2010 and has over 20 years' experience in the fields of clinical negligence litigation and defamation, having qualified in 1989. He is a member of the AvMA referral panel and the Law Society clinical negligence panel as well as an adjudicator for the Legal Services Commission.

Both Chambers UK and The Legal 500 directories recognise John as a leader in his field.

He is based in our London office but sees clients nationwide.

Achieving a £600,000 settlement for a failure by the hospital to diagnose a scaphoid fracture.
Securing an apology and £600,000 in damages for failing to diagnose a malignant melanoma.
Settling a claim for £400,000 for failing to remove a metal on metal hip resulting in the destruction of soft tissue.
Achieving damages of £400,000 and an apology for failing to diagnose an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in death.
