Profile

Grace is an associate in the personal injury and clinical negligence team. She acts for clients who have experienced injuries as a result of negligent gynaecological care, mismanagement of labour, stillbirths and surgical errors.

She also assists senior members of the team on complex stroke and brain injury claims, supporting clients with life-altering injuries. Grace is based in the Basingstoke office but acts for clients across the UK.

Having joined Penningtons Manches Cooper as a paralegal in May 2017, Grace worked within the personal injury and clinical negligence team prior to beginning her training contact. She qualified as an associate in March 2023.

Recent work highlights

  • Assisting a senior member of the team with obtaining a settlement for a complex clinical negligence claim involving a delayed diagnosis of cancer.
  • Working on a high value personal injury case which resulted in a substantial settlement for a claimant left with a permanent brain injury following a fall.
  • Assisting with obtaining a settlement, through alternative dispute resolution, in a claim involving a cyclist hit by a car who suffered multiple serious injuries.
