Georgina is a knowledge lawyer in the IP, IT and commercial team, based in London. She has a broad range of experience in commercial law, IP, IT, data protection and the life sciences sector.
Her knowledge role involves supporting the IP, IT and commercial team by ensuring they are kept up to date with legal current awareness, developing precedents, preparing and delivering training and know-how sessions, writing articles, and supporting with legal research. Georgina also works with the firm’s best practice group to improve firmwide processes and systems, to enable the team to work efficiently, helping to ‘make things better’ for the team and for clients.
Georgina joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2024 from Thomson Reuters, where she worked as a senior specialist legal editor. She trained and qualified as a solicitor at a regional law firm and practised as a commercial lawyer in private practice for several years before moving in-house. She has a particular interest in life sciences, having previously worked in-house in the life sciences sector, and has a BSc in biomedical sciences.
