Recent work highlights

  • Acting for the father in an international relocation case where the mother had applied to move with the children to Scotland. The relationship between the father and one child was limited and there were arguments concerning parental alienation issues.
  • Representing the litigation friend of a husband who lacked capacity in relation to a capitalisation of maintenance claim by his first wife. This was a particularly complex dispute due to the inheritance implications for various members of the husband’s family, including his current wife.
  • Advising the husband in an international dynastic case on maintenance and an initial settlement with his wife, as well as subsequently on the capitalisation of maintenance to his wife from family trusts.
