Julia Goroszeniuk

Associate

Julia is an associate in the marine, trade and aviation team in London. Her practice focuses on dispute resolution in the commodities sector. She acts for and advises businesses and individuals involved in international trade transactions, including banks, trading houses and those involved in the import and export of physical commodities.

She also advises trade associations and arbitral bodies with interests in the sector. Acting in relation to the trade of tangible goods and futures, as well as underlying financial instruments such as letters of credit and guarantees, Julia is involved across energy, metal and minerals, and agricultural commodities encompassing both contentious and non-contentious matters, including regulatory issues and substantial civil frauds. Her recent caseload has involved underlying trades of coal, petroleum products, metals, cocoa, coffee and sugar.

I work with clients across the commodities and international trade sectors whose commercial pressures, objectives and environments guide my approach. I ensure that I maintain a grasp of the evolving factual and legal detail of a matter, however complex, so that our advice and strategy remains informed by changing nuances and priorities.
