Innovation lawyer

Jenna is an innovation lawyer in the legal tech and innovation team, based in Oxford and London.

She implements the firm’s AI strategy and drives adoption of legal technology to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance client delivery. Working closely with lawyers and business services teams across the firm, she focuses on embedding practical solutions and building capability so that innovation translates into measurable impact.

Through thoughtful adoption of legal tech, I focus on embedding solutions that support our culture of continuous improvement and innovation. My aim is to harness AI and technology so our lawyers can focus on what they do best: delivering exceptional client service.

Jenna Coad, Innovation lawyer

Jenna trained at the firm, qualifying into the commercial dispute resolution team in 2018. She previously practised as a litigator, specialising in group actions and professional negligence, before moving into a knowledge lawyer role where she delivered training, knowledge-sharing initiatives and strategic projects. Drawing on this experience, she brings both legal and operational insight to her innovation role, ensuring technology is implemented in ways that work for lawyers and deliver better outcomes for clients.

Advancing use of litigation technologies within the department, including group actions software and costs budgeting software.

Training schedules

Organising the 2025 training schedule for the dispute resolution division to cover the lifecycle of a dispute, from pre-action through to enforcement.

Updates for litigators

Preparing monthly current awareness updates for firmwide litigators, along with other knowledge team members.
