Hatem Abass

Associate

Hatem is a mid-level associate within the firm’s corporate team in the Guildford office. He primarily advises clients across different sectors on local and cross-border small to mid-market M&A transactions, joint-ventures/investment and general corporate advisory.

He has particular expertise in advising SMEs on day-to-day corporate matters with a focus on exits and expansion by acquisition or joint venture. He also has several years’ experience prior to qualifying advising on foreign direct investment in the GCC region and draws on this when providing guidance to overseas clients on investment into the UK and cross-border matters. He has assisted clients in navigating complex jurisdictional red-tape by working closely with the firm’s network of overseas offices.

I am a pragmatic transactional lawyer with experience in and outside the UK and draw on my experience to deal effectively with clients and counterparties from different jurisdictions. While I have a busy role, I am always available on the phone and pride myself on providing a personal touch.
