Victoria is an associate in the clinical negligence team. Her caseload includes claims in a range of medical fields including general surgery, cosmetic surgery, GP care and orthopaedics.

She advises on claims relating to surgical error and delayed or incorrect diagnoses, as well as acting for clients who have sadly lost a family member as a result of their medical treatment. She also frequently assists senior members of the team with complex, high value birth injury cases.

A member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), Victoria qualified as an associate in 2018, having joined Penningtons Manches Cooper as a trainee in 2016. She is based in the firm’s Basingstoke office but acts for clients around the UK.

Recent work highlights

  • Advising on claims involving injuries to minors or protected parties that require court approval hearings following settlement.
  • Working with other members of the clinical negligence team on several high value birth injury claims, securing multimillion pound settlements to provide the care, treatment and equipment required for the injured child’s lifetime.
  • Acting on behalf of bereaved families in fatal claims, particularly involving delayed or incorrect diagnoses.
