Portrait of Sarah Finch

Profile

Sarah Finch is a partner in the real estate disputes team and is based in the firm's London office. With broad experience across both the commercial and residential sectors, especially in high value, complex matters, she has a strong track record in representing clients at tribunal and in the higher courts and acts for leading institutional landlords and developers as well as overseas and domestic investors with substantial portfolios across the office, retail and warehouse sectors.

Sarah's practice focuses particularly on commercial landlord and tenant matters and encompasses asset management work, lease renewals, tenant insolvency and dilapidations as well as telecoms and development disputes. She regularly manages site clearance strategies for sizeable developments, including rights of light and litigation linked to restrictive covenants and trespass. Her experience in both the commercial and residential sectors means she is able to provide a full service to her investor and developer clients.

Recognised by both the leading legal directories, Sarah has been described as 'an exceptional property lawyer', 'a tactical warrior of a litigator' and 'more than just a good solicitor – she is business minded, personable and approachable'. Legal 500 highlights her ability to stay 'calm and focused no matter how much pressure she is under'.

Sarah joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2025 from another leading City law firm with a strong real estate practice.
