Emily Hartland

Associate

Emily is an associate solicitor in the medical negligence team. She acts for clients across a range of serious injury cases, including claims against private clinicians, general practitioners and NHS trusts.

Having gained experience in helping clients come to terms with life-changing injuries, Emily has developed her expertise in gynaecological injuries, orthopaedic injuries, delayed diagnosis of cancer claims and surgical claims. She has particular expertise in claims relating to the delay in diagnosis of cauda equina syndrome but her surgical cases have involved a wider variety of injuries including bowel injury, bladder injury, infertility, sepsis and psychological injury.

I represent individuals and their families with a diverse range of medical negligence claims. My aim is to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible given my clients are already going through a difficult time both physically and mentally. Litigation can be complex and highly emotive and so extra care is needed.
