Elina Pavlidou

Associate

Elina is an associate in the marine, trade and aviation team. Her experience includes advising on charterparty and bill of lading disputes and acting for a broad range of clients, including insurers, shipowners, charterers and P&I clubs.

Her practice also extends to aviation insurance and reinsurance, with a focus on complex coverage disputes. She acts in multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration proceedings, and has been significantly involved in the multi billion dollar aviation insurance claims arising out of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, advising insurers and reinsurers across all aspects of the litigation.

I am a shipping and aviation lawyer with experience in a wide range of disputes. I bring a structured, technical and commercially grounded approach to every matter, ensuring clients receive clear, rigorous advice that supports decisive strategic action.

Elina joined the firm in 2020 and has worked in both the Piraeus and London offices. She qualified in 2025. Prior to this, Elina completed her maritime law LLM at UCL, where she achieved an outstanding distinction for her thesis on the Insurance Act 2015. She is a native Greek speaker.
