Charlotte Finley

Senior associate

Charlotte is a senior associate in the contentious private client team. She has a proven track record in handling complex trust and probate disputes, both in the English and Jersey courts. Her particular focus is on high-value and cross-border contentious trust and estate litigation.

She has acted for a diverse range of clients, including private individuals, corporate and individual trustees and executors, protectors, beneficiaries, and charities. This broad client base has allowed Charlotte to develop a deep understanding of the various perspectives and interests involved in trust and estate disputes, and her ability to navigate these complex relationships and provide tailored advice to each client. Her current work includes a variety of contentious matters such as beneficiary disputes, breach of trust claims, administration of estate disputes, and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. These areas of focus highlight her comprehensive knowledge of the legal issues that can arise in the administration of trusts and estates, as well as her ability to effectively advocate for her clients’ interests.

I understand that trust and inheritance disputes can be legally complex and emotionally taxing. Therefore, I strive to balance a legally sound and strategic approach with sensitivity to the human elements involved.
